Two Queensway Bridge Officially Opens
Two Queensway Bridge was officially opened in May 2025. This new bridge has vastly improved the pedestrian network around Admiralty – connecting Pacific Place Mall, the adjacent government buildings, including Tamar Park, the Tamar Government Complex and the Legislative Council Complex, and other commercial premises on Queensway. Open to the public around the clock, the footbridge improves accessibility and promotes walkability, ensuring that the whole community can enjoy the area’s diverse facilities.
The footbridge's design prioritises sustainability and inclusivity, with features such as natural ventilation, energy-efficient skylight windows and lightweight steel construction to minimise visual and environmental impact. Planters along the walkway create a pleasant walking experience while the footbridge offers lift connections, ensuring accessibility for all.
To mark the occasion, Swire Properties sponsored a community event hosted by an NGO – a treasure hunt for 90 families from across Hong Kong that explored iconic landmarks in Admiralty, including Pacific Place.
Together with One Queensway Bridge, the expanded footbridge network will accommodate the increasing foot traffic driven by Admiralty's expanded MTR network and growing workforce, exemplifying Swire Properties’ commitment to placemaking and the long-term development of the neighbourhood.

Wellness in Action in the Chinese Mainland
During 2025, several of our Chinese Mainland properties made improvements to enhance sustainability and community wellbeing.

Green Parking at Taikoo Li Qiantan
There is significant demand for nonmotor vehicle parking around the Taikoo Li Qiantan development. In the past, this led to a large number of bicycles and other non-motorised transportation devices being parked haphazardly along the streets adjacent to the mall, inconveniencing both customers and property managers.
Taikoo Li Qiantan proactively proposed a solution: An elevated steel parking platform that created a parking area and preserved existing street-side greenery. Suspended above the street greenery and below the tree branches, the structure lets customers “park under the trees”, creating a new kind of functional urban retreat with built-in seats and high-top tables, making it also a social space where people can relax amidst nature.

As part of Swire Properties’ ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, this year INDIGO transformed an underutilised area by the north entrance of the shopping centre into a dedicated rest space for delivery personnel, who make over 200 daily visits amid the continued growth of the online food order ecosystem.
Located next to the delivery and courier parking zones, the space offers a comfortable space where workers can relax during off-peak hours. The interior has a welcoming layout and is adorned with motivational imagery celebrating delivery riders. It includes varied seating options, small tables and pegboards for storing helmets and outerwear. The space exemplifies INDIGO’s sustained support for the local community and its broader vision for inclusive urban development.

On 16 July, as Beijing sweltered under a heatwave, Taikoo Li Sanlitun hosted our second annual “Cool Summer” event to honour essential service workers, including the food delivery riders, sanitation workers and security personnel who help keep the city running smoothly even in blistering heat. The mall provided free chilled beverages, heat-relief medicines and traditional Chinese medicine consultations for outdoor workers, who could also play a fun hoop-toss game and win small gifts.

In August 2025, Swire Properties launched “mhp (‘My Happy Place’) by Tong Chong Street Market” on the 37/F of One Island East. Designed as a high-rise sanctuary for the Taikoo Place community, this vibrant dining destination enhances the daily lives of office workers by creating an atmosphere of comfort and connection, producing an environment where employees are happier and more productive.
The space enriches the Quarry Bay landscape, offering a lively dining hub, featuring interactive entertainment options such as photo booths and claw machines. It was also an event venue for the Tong Chong Street Market Beer Fest and Taikoo Place Wellness Month, delivering unique and memorable experiences.
mhp also partners with local food and beverage vendors, encouraging entrepreneurship, enhancing the variety of dining options for the neighbourhood and promoting sustainability and convenience – for example through encouraging the use of Muuse reusable cups and food boxes.

Several F&B outlets in our Chinese Mainland portfolio began taking part in the new WELL EAT programme – a science‑backed healthy eating initiative developed by the International WELL Building Institute (“IWBI”) and the Well Living Lab to advance dietary health in built environments.
Sixteen restaurants at Taikoo Li Qiantan participated in WELL EAT, offering transparent meal information, hosting nutrition‑focused events and running healthy dining promotions for customers. The initiative received positive feedback from tenants and visitors, reinforcing the value of wellness-focused dining and driving greater community engagement. The dining facilities at HKRI Taikoo Hui’s TERRA also joined the programme, with several dishes earning official WELL EAT certification.

The International WELL Building Institute confers WELL ratings – leading global standards that allow buildings to demonstrate their commitment to health and safety, equity and performance. In alignment with our SD 2050 Vision, we have set clear targets to achieve WELL certification across our portfolio by 2030 and 2035. This commitment reflects our strategic focus on fostering sustainable, thriving communities and enhancing occupant health through evidence-based design and operational excellence.
Taikoo Hui Guangzhou gained WELL Platinum Recertification for the mall and both office towers, reflecting our continued commitment to occupant health and corporate social responsibility and growing our ability to attract international tenants with the same values.
At Taikoo Li Qiantan, the mall’s south zone completed WELL Platinum recertification in mid2025. The Habitat VIP Lounge also received its first WELL Platinum certification. In March 2025, HKRI Taikoo Hui received the WELL Core Platinum v2 certification, adding to its robust portfolio of sustainability credentials.
In Hong Kong, the entire Pacific Place portfolio has obtained WELL Core accreditation. One, Two, Three, Five, and Six Pacific Place and the Pacific Place Mall all have WELL Core Platinum certification and the WELL Health-Safety Rating. Likewise, our entire Taikoo Place portfolio achieved WELL Core Platinum certification.
