Swire Properties received the Pioneer Award in the Green Building Leadership in the Developer category at the Green Building Award 2025. This was our second win in this sub-category and our fourth in the overall Green Building Leadership category.

Swire Properties received the “Excellence in Practice” award at the ESG China Innovation Annual Conference 2025 in Beijing. Our case study on establishing a symbiotic community-architecture-nature ESG system was selected for inclusion in the ESG Excellence in Practice Report 2025, which features 36 exemplary cases from numerous enterprises. The case study illustrates how we continue to lead the real estate sector in creating sustainable value through continuous creative transformation.

The case study also won the “HRoot Outstanding Award”, which cited our industry-leading sustainability performance.

Swire Properties’ 2024 Sustainability Report received the HKMA 65th Anniversary Best Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Award, and the Annual Report 2024 earned a Bronze Award in the General category.

Swire Properties received a Special Mention in the Elite Past Winners, Large Market Capitalisation category in the ESG section of these awards, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Public Accountants. These awards are considered to be an objective and rigorous assessment of companies’ corporate governance and ESG practices.

Swire Properties was recognised with the Environmental Impact Award at the 2025 RICS Hong Kong Awards, in recognition of our continued leadership in sustainable development, holistic advancement of sustainable solutions and net-zero carbon targets and our enhanced environmental risk management transparency.

Taikoo Li Sanlitun won the Project Outside Hong Kong category and received the Most Popular Award.

Taikoo Li Sanlitun received a Three-Star PEDF System rating for both design and operations from the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency – the first nationwide star rating devised specifically for Photovoltaics, Energy Storage, Direct Current and Flexibility (“PEDF”) systems in buildings.

The rating was unveiled at the third China PEDF Conference and Expo, an event held in Beijing to mark technological breakthroughs and applications in PEDF systems. These systems are operating at Building N15, the RED, and the underground car park at Taikoo Li Sanlitun. Being the first company to apply PEDF in China’s commercial building sector, our pioneering installations are providing valuable lessons for the industry, both locally and globally.

Citygate Outlets received First Place in the ASHRAE Technology Award 2025/26 for the exemplary retro-commissioning of an existing commercial building. By implementing data-driven retro-commissioning, chiller optimisation and a cloud-based smart energy management platform, the development achieved 770,000 kWh in energy savings (17.7%) in 2024 compared to a 2021 baseline, while also improving thermal comfort and indoor air quality for building users.

We received the 2025 Shared Value Award in the Climate and Nature Solutions category. Given by the Shared Value Initiative Hong Kong, this award recognises our three tenant engagement programmes that drive positive environmental performance and deliver significant business outcomes – our Green Performance Pledge, Green Kitchen Initiative and Green Retail Partnership.

Taikoo Square and Taikoo Garden won a Gold Award at the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (“HKILA”) Awards 2024 in the “Excellence in Private Development” category. This award promotes excellence in landscape planning, design and management in both public and private landscape projects.

Randstad Hong Kong named Swire Properties as the Most Attractive Employer to work for in the Property and Real Estate Sector in 2025, suggest changing to “marking our second year in a row of receiving this accolade.”

The Randstad awards rank the employer attractiveness of Hong Kong’s largest commercial companies and institutions. This year’s awards saw 2,599 local-based respondents rate companies on their relative employer brand awareness and attractiveness.

Swire Properties has ranked in top 10 of the Employer Brand Awards every year since 2017, with the Company taking the title of “Most Attractive Employer in Hong Kong” in 2022.

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service’s (“HKCSS”) Caring Company Scheme aims to inspire continuous improvement in sustainable development and social impact across companies and organisations. Swire Properties has been consistently recognised by the scheme over the years. In 2025, we achieved our highest ranking and overall score yet – reaching the three-star Leading Performance tier and achieving a total score of 53.89 out of 65, including a perfect 8/8 score in the scheme’s Partnership criteria. This high score meant we were ranked first overall in the Leading Performance tier, out of a field of over 20 companies.

We also received the “Performance Recognition: Leading Performance” and “Special Listing: Caregiver-friendly Company” accolades from the scheme – awards that recognise our success in creating social impact through robust governance, data tracking and collaboration and dedicated support for working caregivers.

We were recognised with the Outstanding Corporate – Excellence Award at the Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2025. This was a symbolic award to receive as we celebrate 25 years of the Swire Properties Community Ambassador Programme.
